At the Feb 13 Clarkston School Board meeting, the board voted 7-0 to open the Oakland, Science, Math and Technology (OSMTech) program to open enrollment starting in the 2006-07 school year. According to estimates presented by Deputy Superintendent Dave Reschke, the action will open space for an additional 30 students ? 15 in ninth grade, and five for each grade 10-12.
The program now operates out of Clarkston High School and brings in students from Clarkston, Holly, Brandon and Lake Orion. Students from additional districts can apply for the fall semester as part of the open enrollment program.
