Sean Rollins? goal with 9:58 left in the game gave the Goodrich hockey team a 3-2 win against host Flushing in a Feb. 15 contest.
The Raiders took an early 1-0 lead when Brice Taylor scored on an assist from Jason Pozsgai with 13:16 left in the first period.
Goodrich then scored two goals in the second period to take a 2-1 lead. Mitch Milke scored on assists from Max Hawkins and Steven Tangney with 11:07 left in the second, then Darin Kern put Goodrich in the lead with 3:23 left in the second, scoring on assists from Mitchell Syrowik and Rollins.
In the third period, Flushing’s Andrew Berriman scored an unassisted goal with 14:02 left to put the Raiders up 3-2. The score stayed that way until Rollins? goal, which was assisted by Zack Pernack and Brennen Benedict.
Three days later, the Martians lost a 3-1 contest against Linden. Reece Geml scored the lone goal for the Martians.
