Lake Orion School Board President Leeann Bartley was the recipient of the Master Diamond Award from the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB).
The awards were given to 23 Oakland County school board members, for their efforts to improve their leadership skills and become more effective school leaders, demonstrating their commitment to student achievement.
Awards are earned for classes completed in MASB’s leadership training program, as well as conference attendance, years of service and leadership activities.
The Master Diamond Award is a Level 5 Certification/Award, for Levels 1-4, 14 200-level classes, and 528 education credits.
