A 20-year-old Clarkston man suffered a broken leg in a four-car accident on March 9.
The accident occurred on Sashabaw Road north of Clarkston Road at approximately 6:54 a.m. The man was driving a 1990 Ford Probe northbound when he crossed left of center and struck a southbound 1998 GMC van operated by a 46-year-old Waterford woman.
The GMC van crossed left of center due to the first impact and struck a northbound 2006 Ford pickup operated by a 52-year-old Waterford man.
After striking the GMC van, the Probe continued north in the southbound lane and struck a 2002 vehicle driven by a 54-year-old Oxford resident.
Independence Township Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene and extracted the Clarkston man from the his Probe and transported to Genesys Medical Facility.
The crash remains under investigation. No other injuries were reported and reports made no indication whether alcohol was involved.
