Join local nature writer Jonathan Schechter as he guides a delightful spring walk in Kimball’s woodlands where hikers will encounter the headwaters of the Clinton River. Wildflowers, frogs and salamanders, birds and mammals, lots of wildlife discoveries await the participants in this hidden treasure.
The Kimball Nature Preserve is located in Clarkston. From I-75 go south a quarter mile on M-15. Then, go east on Northview Drive to Perry Lake Road. A left turn (north) will take you to the cul-de-sac and ‘start? location.
