Clarkston Junior High School and Sashabaw Middle School combined for seven top six finishes at the Oakland County 7th and 8th grade track meet.
The Sashabaw girls team did the best of the four teams. They scored 10 points, which was good for 10 points.
Sashabaw’s Andrea Butler took second place in the 1600-meter run. Butler teamed with Paige Selent, Julia Fontin and Julia Douglas to take fifth place in the 3200-meter relay.
Clarkston Junior High placed in two girls relay events. The team of Annie Castillo, Bailee Braunreuther, Lauren Culver and Breanne Timm took fifth place in the 1600-meter relay and the team of Kaelyn Bogart, Taylor Hasselbach, Ashlee Ogg and Rebecca Culver took sixth place in the 400-meter relay.
For the boys, Sashabaw’s Christian Bonzheim took second place in the 3200-meter run and teamed with Austin Yarger, Dandy Flores and Brian Benway to take sixth place in the 3200-meter relay.
Clarkston Junior High’s Ryan Brown finished in fifth place in the 1600-meter run.
