Thousands of Clarkstonites braved the winter weather Saturday night for the Holiday Lights Parade down Main Street.
Around 50 community organizations, businesses, Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, and other groups marched or rode in colorful, brightly lit floats during the hour-long parade, with jolly St. Nick bringing up the rear.
Then everyone walked to Depot Park with Santa and Mrs. Claus for tree-lighting ceremonies, hot cocoa, coffee, popcorn and other treats, enjoying the Christmas spirit.
