The Lake Orion Lions Club Jubilee Carnival is June 29-July 2, ending the night of the Lake Orion Fireworks show.
Streets will be closed downtown, beginning June 28 at 6 a.m., through Noon on July 3.
Proposed carnival hours of operation are Noon-1:30 a.m.
Streets to be closed include portions of Broadway and Flint, as well as the parking lot at Children’s Park, as it is used as camping facilities for carnival workers.
Other parking lots that will also close, beginning at 6 a.m. on June 28, are the lot adjacent to the Lake Orion Veterinary Hospital (southwest corner of Flint and Anderson), and the lot adjacent to The Lake Orion Review (southeast corner of Broadway and Shadbolt).
