A 28-year-old Clarkston man was arrested for felonious assault with a motor vehicle on June 15 after he allegedly drove over a curb and attempted to run over another man.
Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies from the Independence Township substation arrested the man after a woman he shares a child with called police claiming he threatened her boyfriend and to damage both of the couples? vehicles.
According to statements, the boyfriend had to place his hands on the hood of the car and push himself out of the way so as not to be hit as the man drove towards him.
The boyfriend had walked out to the parking lot to watch the woman drive in safely after receiving the threats over her phone. The incident took place around 7:21 p.m.
