Congratulations to the Oxford-based business DMT Business Solutions for winning the $500 Gas Giveaway contest from Uncle Boomba’s gas station and The Oxford Leader and Lake Orion Review.
Business Solutions is owned and operated by Oxford resident Dawn Timmreck, who is an independent contractor and assists legal offices and does bookkeeping.
Timmreck was surprised with her winning certificate while working at the downtown office of Attorney Lee Knauf last Thursday.
‘It was totally unexpected and I’m thrilled,? she said later.
Timmreck decided it was time to subscribe to the newspaper after a small hiatus and just so happened to fill out the blank entry form for the Gas Giveaway contest.
‘I thought ‘Why not? It’s not like I’m gonna win anyway,?? she said jokingly.
Over 130 residents and businesses subscribed or renewed their subscriptions for two years to The Leader or The Lake Orion Review with the hopes of winning the $500 grand prize or any of the other great weekly prizes, like gas cards and food from Mr. Pita.
