Trick-or-treaters will want to stop at the Station 1 fire hall in Lake Orion on Halloween night (Tues., Oct. 31) for a special treat.
Charlie Harkins of the Orion Firefighters Association invites young and old to visit the downtown station for cider and doughnuts between the hours of 6-8 p.m.
Harkins advises that children should arrive before 7:30 p.m. if they want to get their share of doughnuts. That’s when the police officers arrive.
Station 1 is located downtown at the foot of Broadway, across from Children’s Park.
