Police Chief Jerry Narsh reports that Lake Orion Police officers will perform safety inspections on Halloween treats at the police department, 37 E. Flint Street, starting at 6:30 p.m. on Halloween night.
Officers will also conduct community safety patrols throughout the village on Halloween to ensure the safety of children.
Chief Narsh urges parents who are driving a vehicle behind their children, to focus on their driving, not just their child.
‘Small children are darting in and out, and they depend on your observations,? he said. ‘Be safe and have an enjoyable evening with your family.?
