Carpenter’s Intersession students cooked up some delicious food during their Fall Intersession, ‘Food, Manners, and Munchies.?
The Intersession took place the week of Oct. 30 through Nov. 3.
The students learned about nutrition and created some tasty, healthy treats. They also learned about proper manners, table manners, and setting a table with Pamela Barc, owner of Etiquette’s Edge.
With their newly learned skills in place, they traveled to Petruzzello’s Banquet Center in Troy and put them to the test, while enjoying a fine dining experience.
At the end of the week, the students invited their parents and special guests to a Fall Harvest Social Gathering where they prepared and displayed all the food, decorated the cafeteria and even helped serve. Everyone had a wonderful time sampling their delicious recipes!
