The Lake Orion Downtown Development Authority hosted a special ribbon cutting celebration Friday, honoring 12 businesses that have either moved into reinvested in the downtown district.
The DDA celebration began with a business neighbors meeting and light refreshments at the organization’s office at 51 North Broadway.
Dick Hasberger, DDA Board and Economic Development Committee member, discussed plans for 2007, before the guests dispersed for the various ribbon cutting ceremonies.
Businesses acknowledged included: Sagebrush Cantina, Elements, Hanson’s Running Shop, Little Monsters/Flint Street Gallery, Celtic Cove & Catholic Bookstore, Cutting Edge, Royal Radio, Orion Music Studio, Twice Blessed, NOVA’s Odds & Ends, Village Trophy Shop and Studio Glitz.
