A fight that started at school ended with an altercation outside a Kimberly residence and a 16-year-old needing medical attention on Jan. 3.
According to an Oakland County Sheriff’s Department report, two female students were sent home from school after fighting.
One of the teens decided that the fight was not over however, and showed up at the other teen’s residence with three friends.
The victim went outside with her mother to tell the group to leave, at which point another fight ensued.
A neighbor reported that both the mother and daughter were hit multiple times, and the daughter received a blow to the head.
The fight was eventually broken up, but the 16-year-old victim was transported to Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital for medical treatment.
The mother refused treatment at the scene.
School officials were notified of the incident.
