Mgr. would like to see trail surface compacted
Polly Ann Trail Manager Amy Murray said at the PATMC’s regular meeting Jan. 17 that she would like to see the trail’s crushed limestone surfaces be compacted more.
She said the trail has been ‘aggrivated? by the wet weather and equestrain riders and that it doesn’t seem to resettle when wet.
Murray did not say when the compacting would occur.

Drainage problems in Oxford/Addison Twp.
There seems to be a large drainage problem on the Polly Ann Trail on the east side of Curtis Rd. in Addison Township and on a segment parallel to Lakeville Rd. in Oxford Township due to the large amounts of rain.
Trail Manager Amy Murray said at the PATMC’s regular meeting Jan. 17 that a portion of the trail gets large amounts of standing water after heavy rain showers and this has eroded the area.
She is speaking with the trail’s engineers to find a solution for the problem.

Bathrooms made available to trail users
Oxford Farm and Garden generously decided to offer their bathroom facilities to any trail users who may need them.
The store is located on M-24, just north of the trail’s pedestrian bridge.
