B-ball program geared towards pre-schoolers

Do you have a three or four-year-old that is interested in basketball? Then check out ‘Start Smart Basketball,? a program offered by the Parks & Recreation Department.
The six week program is geared towards introducing youngsters to basketball skills without the competition or fear of getting hurt.
The parents work with their child in a supportive environment to instruct their child in the skills of shooting, dribbling and passing, as well as working on basic motor skills.
The program runs on Wednesdays, from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Blanche Sims Elementary School beginning on Jan. 31.
The cost is $45 per child and includes a t-shirt. A parent must attend with their child.
Space in the program is limited, so register as soon as possible.
