Appointments made to Addison boards

The Addison Township Board of Trustees voted unanimously at their Jan. 25 meeting to appoint five individuals to various committees.
Debbie Haviland and Jay Lentz were both re-appointed to the Board of Review, while Bob Zerwick was newly appointed.
The Board of Review carries a two-year term. They have the authority to raise or lower a citizen’s taxes if one challenges an assessment.
Rod Blaszyk was appointed to the township’s Park Committee to replace Ken Campbell, who is moving out of the area.
The Park Committee carrys a three-year term and takes care of the various parks, establishes rules and regulations, seeks grants, and works with the Oakland County WAMMERs and local park rangers.
Wayne Hodges was appointed to replace Ken Campbell on the Cable Commission.
Supervisor Bob Koski said he is still searching for someone to be appointed to the Planning Commission.
