Addison has set the date for its annual meeting.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will take place 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31 at the township complex, 1440 Rochester Rd. in Lakeville.
This is an opportunity for everyone to review, comment on and question the 2007-08 township budget.
It’s also a chance for township electors to vote for or against an increase in the elected officials? salaries. Officials won’t decide until Feb. 19 whether or not to propose pay raises.
The meeting will also include a truth in taxation hearing and allow residents to file petitions with the township.
After that portion of the meeting is closed, the board of trustees will take into account the resident’s recommendations and come to a conclusion on the 2007-08 budget.
