Last week, The Review featured a story on a special wedding at Children’s Park. In addition to some gifts from Little Monsters, the bride and groom also received a special item from Flint St. Gallery, the other business in the same space.
The gallery presented an original watercolor by Christine McKenna depicting the Lake Orion Children’s Park gazebo, the site of the nuptials, titled ‘Rosy Glow.?
Co-owners Leila Freijy and Christine McKenna view the gifts as giving back to a community that has been extremely supportive during their first year in business.
‘We wouldn’t get this kind of support in a strip-mall,? said Freijy. ‘We’re so happy to be in Lake Orion!?
‘As a first anniversary ‘thank-you,? we decided to put together a huge basket of our customers? favorite things,? added McKenna. ‘Running through July 15, our first anniversary, every purchase of $20 enters you into the drawing for the basket of toys and art valued at over $250.?
