Chamber needs cookbook recipes

The 10th anniversary of Taste of Clarkston is coming up. To celebrate, planners are collecting ‘Tried and True? recipes for a Community Cookbook.
The recipes will be published in a spiral bound cookbook to be available at the Taste, set for Sept. 30, downtown Clarkston Main Street.
Submit recipes in Word format, *.doc, to Cookbook@Clarkston.org. They can also be dropped off or mailed to Cookbook c/o Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce, 5856 S. Main St., Clarkston, 48346.
Recipe categories include appetizers, beverages, vegetable, main dishes, desserts, soups and salads, breads and rolls, and miscellaneous. Include recipe title, ingredients, method, and submitter’s name.
The book will also include stories, such as the origin of the recipe, memories, good feelings, and hometown heritage associated with the recipe or favorite foods.
Cookbooks can be pre-ordered for $5 each. Submit five recipes and get one free cookbook.
