It happens
On Aug. 9, a Brandon deputy was dispatched to the 4500 block of Spruce Court for a breaking and entering, the home’s second within the last two weeks. The home’s side window was broken and the window next to it was slightly open with the screen on the ground. The home was trashed and the woman at the home found her husband’s guitar on the couch and what appeared to be human feces underneath it. The responsible person had locked the woman’s Rottweiler mix in a bedroom. Because the dog is not friendly, she believes the suspect is someone familiar with the dog. She was advised to inform the mobile home park managers, get an alarm or video surveillance, and that an extra patrol would be put on. The case is open.
