Sheriff’s deputies responded to a possible suicidal male with a handgun near the 4300 block of Forrest St. in Leonard on the evening of August 15.
Upon arrival, deputies approached the residence and observed the 42-year-old man through the window with the gun in his hand. Verbal contact was made and the man disarmed himself and was taken into custody.
The Leonard man was transported to Crittenton Hospital for examination.
