Brandon Twp.- The township board has unanimously approved the hiring of Dawn Lindsay, Dennis Nash, and Aaron Van Dis as new paid on-call firefighters subject to physicals and background criminal and driving record checks.
Lindsay has completed the EMT program, which Nash and Van Dis will begin in September. After that, all three will go through firefighting training. For now, says Fire Chief Bob McArthur, the new recruits will accompany experienced firefighters on calls and help at the stations.
