The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be keeping busy as they do some rehabilitation bridgework on the I-75 bridges that cross over Clintonville road.
‘We are going to do both bridges, I-75 northbound and I-75 southbound over Clintonville and those bridges are going to get some work this summer,? said Rob Morosi, MDOT office of communications. ‘We’re going to improve the driving surface; we’re going to work on the substructure and some other remedial repairs just to ensure the safety of the bridges.?
The bridge over Clarkston Road is also set for rehabilitation, he said.
‘We’ve been in the process of designing and gauging these bridges to be done probably over the past two or three years,? said Morosi.
Work is expected to start sometime in late June or after the Fourth of July.
