Annie Stodola, a 2007 graduate of Goodrich High School, has been named to the dean’s list at Saginaw Valley State University for the fall 2007 semester.
Stodola, a journalism major, is the daughter of Jill Stodola and the late Barry Stodola and is the sister of Ben Stodola of Ortonville.
James B. Angell scholars
Three area students were recognized as James B. Angell scholars during an honors convocation at the University of Michigan’s Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor on March 16.
Adrian Allen of Goodrich, Christina Saindon of Goodrich, and Anna Stanczyk of Ortonville, were three of the four undergraduate students who were given the distinction and had earned nine consecutive terms of all As with a minimum of 14 credit hours, including at least 12 graded credits.
Allen is a 2003 graduate of Goodrich High School and will graduate in August from the University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science and the Arts with a degree in Latin education. Her parents are Jim and Cheryl Allen of Duluth, Minn., formerly of Goodrich.
Saindon is also a 2003 graduate of Goodrich High School and will graduate in April from the University of Michigan’s College of Kinesiology with a dual degree in athletic training and physical education and a minor in health. Her parents are Bill and Judy Saindon of Goodrich.
Stanczyk, a 2003 Brandon High School graduate, received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Michigan’s College of Arts and Sciences in December.
