Central offices relocated
Due to renovations, on March 24 the Brandon Central Office will be relocated to 630. S Ortonville Road., (the former Sure Financial office).
The departments that will be moving include: the superintendent’s office, curriculum, business, human resources, and pupil/accounting and enrollment. Correspondence sent to the temporary address or the regular address, 1025. S. Ortonville Road, will be directed to the appropriate department.
Temporarily relocated staff will return to their original offices at the high school when renovations are completed in August.

Spring hockey
Brandon youth hockey players, eighth – 11th grade, are invited to join the 2007-2008 varsity hockey team for a ‘Skate With the Team? event from 6:45-7:45 p.m. March 25 at the Polar Palace Ice Arena, 3301 Davison Road, Lapeer. Volunteer club
The Downtown Development Authority in Ortonville is looking for volunteers who have a knack for organization, writing newsletters, managing a database, networking with business people, and/or love working on community entertainment events.

‘Eggstravaganza?
An easter egg hunt with more than 15,000 filled eggs, prizes including bicycles and much more will be from 1 to 3:30 p.m., today, March 22, at The Point Church, 9430 Perry Road Goodrich.

Golf scramble
The Brandon and Atlas Fire Departments will sponsor the 17th annual four person scramble on June 1. Check in time will be at 8 a.m. and start time is 9 a.m. at the Goodrich Country Club. The scramble will benefit the U of M Ann Arbor Burn Center. Cost is $75 per person and payment must accompany registration form. All entries must be received by May 13. There can be men’s, women’s and mixed teams and there is a 36-team maximum. Details: 248-627-4000.

Forgotten Eagles
The Forgotten Eagles is a non-profit organization devoted to helping veterans in southeastern Michigan. If a veteran has any problems they can go to this organization for help. The Forgotten Eagles have chapters all over Michigan, including one in Ortonville. Details: forgotteneagles.org.

Open house
There will be a preschool and childcare open house from 7-8:30 p.m. on April 7 at the Brandon Township Public Library, 304 South St. Ortonville. This is the second annual open house that highlights the childcare and preschool facilities throughout the community. Staff from childcare programs will be available to offer information and answer questions. This is a free service for all parents.
