Madelina Rosario and Neil Alkammo know how important it is to bring family together and put together the perfect party.
‘When people throw a party they are getting their families together,? said Rosario. ‘We are the people in the back end bringing the party together and making it a great experience.?
The young couple started Bianca’s Party Supplies to help the economy and provide the Clarkston community with a closer place to get party supplies at an affordable price.
‘We make parties happen,? said Rosario. ‘We make families come together. That is what a celebration is.?
They have noticed the most popular items they sell are balloons and pinatas.
They also carry table skirts, latex balloons, Mylar balloons, singing balloons, balloon weights, gift bags, candy, streamers, banners, and party favors.
They have party supplies for all of the latest trends, from Hannah Montana, High School Musical to Curious George and Elmo.
They also have tables and rentals. As the business continues to grow, they plan to add moonwalks and wedding books to help customers out more with their needs.
Often they get customers that don’t know what do for a party. Once Rosario and Alkammo find out what the child likes, they can give options. They know what kids like because they have young nieces and nephews.
Also, they will order products if they do not have any in stock or if they don’t carry them.
They also do little things such as ‘bagging balloons.?
‘One thing people like is that we bag their balloons,? said Rosario. ‘A lot of people don’t understand the courtesy of bagging balloons. Most people wonder ‘why are you bagging my balloons?? We put the balloons in the bag and it weighs them down. They aren’t flying out when you open the door. People like it. People respect it. People have given many compliments on it.?
The couple opened the store on Valentine’s Day.
‘My father owns the business next door (Bianca’s Party Store),? said Alkammo. ‘We decided to try something else. This is what we thought of.?
Alkammo has been in the Clarkston and Waterford community for 27 years.
His parents started as a young couple in Detroit, before moving to Clarkston and opening their party store. Alkammo and Rosario followed in their footsteps.
They decided to open a party supply store when they noticed there were a lot of lakes in the area and not a lot of places along Andersonville Road to purchase party supply items. The nearest store is Party America by Great Lakes Crossing Mall.
‘There are dollar stores,? said Rosario. ‘But dollar stores don’t carry what we carry. We are allowed to carry licensed balloons, like cartoon balloons. You can’t get that at the dollar store. We have really good prices and really good quality.?

The couple plans to have specials for every holiday.
With graduation coming, they are providing high school and college graduates with ten percent off by showing their school id.
Bianca’s Party Supplies is located at 7690 Andersonville Road at corner of Andersonville Road and White Lake Road.
They are opened Monday to Friday 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and closed on Sunday.
