Dog licenses for 2008 are available at the Independence Township Treasurer Office. Tags will be sold until the end of May. Proof of valid rabies vaccination and whether spayed/neutered must be shown.
Beginning June, 1tags will cost $30 (exceptions are newly acquired dogs). All 2008 tags will need to be purchased at the Oakland County Animal Shelter located at 1700 Brown Road in Auburn Hills. Call the shelter at 248-391-4102.
Tags for 2009 will be availabe at the Township Treasurer Office beginning in December.
