Hundreds of supporters hit a home run for SCAMP when they showed up at Sunday’s annual Walk and Roll event in downtown Clarkston.
The event raises money to help support SCAMP, a non-profit six-week summer day camp for children and young adults with special needs.
This year, Paws’the fun-loving, jersey-wearing Detroit Tigers mascot’stopped by to sign autographs, pose for photos and even do a little dancing with the kids in Depot Park.
‘This is truly a family event,? said Donna Clancy, executive director of the SCAMP funding corporation. ‘It’s like a first rite of spring in Clarkston.?
