Mike Losiowski, 50, a Waterford resident for the past 17 years, was appointed to the Ortonville Post Office in April as officer in charge. He will fill in for Postmaster Judy Hickman, who is currently on another detail for a few months.
‘I hope to stay here for a few months or stay on as postmaster,? said Losiowski, who started with the post office in 1993 and served at post offices in Pontiac, West Bloomfield and Auburn Hills during his career.
‘I’d like to get to know the businesses in the community and discuss the options we have for them.?
