On May 4, a Brandon deputy on patrol on northbound Baldwin near Seymour Lake Road observed a vehicle cross the yellow line several times at about 3:09 a.m. He stopped the vehicle and the driver, who smelled of intoxicants, said he’d had three beers in Ann Arbor. He failed several sobriety tests and refused to give a breath sample. He was arrested for suspected operating while intoxicated and taken to the North Oakland Medical Center, where security officers assisted in obtaining a blood draw, then to the Oakland County Jail. He will be cited for refusing a breath test and driving left of center, as well as operating while intoxicated.
