The Brandon Board of Education held a special meeting on May 15 to hear presentations from the Michigan Association of School Boards and the Michigan Leadership Institute. The board voted 6-0 to hire the Michigan Leadership Institute at a cost of $8,000, to conduct the search to replace current Superintendent Tom Miller, who announced his retirement last month. The Michigan Leadership Institute will conduct public meetings, community forums, question and answer sessions and discussions with staff at all levels prior to a final selection.
