Emery and Juanita Bennett will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 31 with an open house at Goodrich United Methodist Church, 8071 S. State Road.
Emery married Nita Gage on June 7, 1958 at Goodrich United Methodist Church.
Emery owned Bennett TV and Bennett Hardware in Goodrich and was a long-time Atlas Township trustee. Nita retired from GMI after 35 years of service. They have resided in Goodrich all of their married life and raised two children, John of Alden and Beth (Joe) Millerschin of Grand Blanc. They have three grandchildren, Kelsey, Kara, and Jake.
