Manic Organic on Sashabaw Road offers fresh organic fruits and vegetables. Owner Patty Sierocki decided to open the establishment after trying to eat healthier and realizing there were no local organic stores.
‘I want parents to get their kids eating healthier and have adults eating healthier too,? Sierocki said.
Organic produce has no added chemicals or artificial ingredients and is environmentally friendly, making it healthier for your body, she said.
For now, only organic produce is available. Sierocki hopes to expand in the future and offer fruit platters and vegetable trays.
While many people fear organic food is too expensive, Sierocki insists that the price difference is not that extreme.
‘The healthier food is worth the little extra money you are spending,? she said. ‘I’m just trying to bring healthier foods to Clarkston.”
Manic Organic is located at 4752 Sashabaw Road in the old Fudley’s Ice Cream Parlor.
