Dear Editor:
I wanted to report this disturbing sight I saw today while coming home from visiting my son. On the corner of Green Road where the pavement ends and turns to dirt, I was stopped at the stop sign and saw a lady in a black SUV pull up and her son jump out. When she saw that I was looking, she had him get back in the car. After driving off I saw in my rearview mirror, the boy jump out of the car and take the signs of our election candidates from the corner of the road. The first sign he pulled out of the ground was that of Ann Hutchins.
Why in the world would a mother teach such things to a young son? I found this very disturbing. And these signs cost money. It is not teaching this young man any values in life at all.
How sad to think we can’t even run for office without a mother stooping to have her child steal signs… What is this world coming to?
