Independence Township Parks and Recreation and Great Turtle Toys host the Fall Fun Fest and Kite Fly, 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 20, at Clintonwood Park’s soccer fields.
Activities include kite building for those 12 and younger, kite flying competitions, juggling demonstrations, and games. Admission is free. Bring your own kite ? kites will also be available for purchase.
Schedule includes:
11 a.m., CHS Mime Troupe; Face painting; Single Line Kite Display, wind permitting; Kite building for kids;
11:30 a.m., 12-year-old juggler Justin;
12:15 p.m., 1:15 p.m., Highest kite contest; and
12:45 p.m., 2 p.m., Candy Drop.
