In this article, I focus on one of my picks for Best of the Best, a winner of the Manage Max Great Customer Service Award. Here’s the story.
Before starting Manage Max Performance Improvement, I was the Vice President of employee and organizational development at a very highly rated financial services company. In the years I worked there, we raised that company’s performance to be among the top 1 percent in the nation (as compared to our peers).
One of our goals was to significantly raise customer satisfaction levels. This required intensive training, major changes to our culture, and improving the performance of hundreds of employees at all levels.
Our efforts were very successful and this success made me keenly aware of what it takes to offer great service in the financial services industry. That is why it is my pleasure to present the Clarkston Branch of Flagstar Bank with the Manage Max Great Customer Service Award!
Over several years, the Flagstar employees have surpassed one of my most demanding expectations: Do the employees act as if they have my best interest in mind?
Flagstar employees have repeatedly gone out of their way to show me how I could increase my earnings, avoid fees and reduce hassle. The friendly, thoughtful employees have always delivered very professional service. That’s what I am looking for in a financial services company and that’s why my personal and business accounts now reside at Flagstar!
A company’s good intentions and customer-centric policies are wonderful, but those good intentions are never realized without great managers. After 30+ years of coaching and training thousands of executives and managers across America, I can recognize a talented, effective manager very quickly.
Kay Holmes, Branch Manager at Flagstar-Clarkston, is a very strong manager who has developed a great team (see photo) that provides great service! I respect Kay’s job knowledge, team building and customer engagement skills and I congratulate her on the results she has achieved!
