With all 61 precincts reporting, challenger Joseph Fabrizio won the race for 52-2 District Court judge, earning 28,428 votes to incumbent Judge Dana Fortinberry’s 21,171, and 167 write-ins.

Eighteen precincts reporting, Independence Township’s open space millage proposal was defeated, 10,507 to 7,809.
