A doe met her end recently, trying to cross M-15 just north of Washington Street. Deer are out and about especially in the fall, and run afoul of automobiles about 20 times a week in the Clarkston area, according to Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, and about 65,000 times a year, according to state police.
