LOHS presents Larceny and Old Lace

The Lake Orion High School presented ‘Larceny and Old Lace? in the Performing Arts Center Nov. 19 – 21. The play was a hilarious spoof of ‘Arsenic and Old Lace,? a popular play and film from the 1940s.
The plot included a delightfully delusional pirate, two terribly sweet old ladies, and two nephews, one endearing and the other diabolical. There was also two strange doctors, an impatient taxi driver, a slightly eccentric judge, two seemingly confused FBI agents and two police officers more interested in their financial portfolios than catching criminals.
Students appeared not only on stage, but also behind the curtain, in the hair and make-up room, and at the light and sound board, allowing them to experience many of the exciting components that make up the performing arts. .
The show was enthusiastically directed by Mrs. Leann Lowe.
