Out-of-state families, working

Dear Editor,
(In response to: ‘You’ve got to pay the mortgage and bills,? The Citizen, Nov. 22, page 3) I read this article, and can really relate to these families. I consider myself one of the lucky ones. My family and I just recently moved to Louisville, Ky. after I accepted a job with another company. Back in May 2008, I realized that it was time to start looking for another job. We have lived in Ortonville since 2003, and we loved our home and the community, but due to the uncertainty in my workplace, I decided to look for another job, and intentionally chose another city/state. Although the economy is also affecting us here, it is certainly not as bad as the situation for Michigan families.
We are now renting out our house in Ortonville, and hope to sell it sometime in the future.
