Former Clarkston man weds

Alicia Renee Enders and Adam John Gebus were married in a double ring ceremony, Sept. 27, 2008, in the gardens of Cheekwood Estate in Nashville, Tenn.
The Rev. Dr. P.A. Michel officiated.
Alicia is the daughter of Glenn and Vickie Enders of Dover, Pa. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Leonard Claytor of Dover, Pennsylvania, and the late Mrs. Claytor; the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Enders of Dover, Pa.; and the late Mr. Calvin Grim of Boiling Springs, Pa.
Adam is the son of John and Nan Gebus of Orange Beach, Ala., recently of Clarkston. He is the grandson of Mrs. Harlan Walterhouse of Davison, and the late Mr. Walterhouse; and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Gebus of Flint.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless ivory gown by Casablanca featuring a crystal beaded bodice with a dropped waistline, a full tulle skirt adorned with an elaborate hand embroidered design, and a chapel length train. She wore a double layer fingertip veil and carried a bouquet of ivory roses.
Attending the bride were her sister, Crystal Blanton of Phoenix, Ariz., and friends Andrea Painter of Washington, DC; Diana Legowik of Huntsville, Ala.; and Katelynn Kem of Sarajevo, Bosnia. The bridesmaids wore gowns of wine satin of varied design and length and carried bouquets of red roses and Blackstar calla lilies.
Best man was long-time friend of the groom, Cody Senkyr, of Bloomington, Minn., formerly of Clarkston. Groomsmen were friends Craig Verlinden of Hunstville, Ala., and Torre Antonazzo of Raleigh, N.C., both formerly of Clarkston; and Andrew Etter of Auburn Hills.
Hors d’oeuvres on the terrace at the Cheekwood Learning Center were followed by a courtyard dinner reception with dancing and cocktails. Weekend festivities for the wedding guests included a golf outing and tours of several historic Nashville attractions.
The wedding couple enjoyed a week-long retreat to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Adam Gebus reside in Huntsville, Ala., where the bride is a supply chain consultant/business analyst for Booz Allen Hamilton and holds a Pennsylvania State University Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Logistics, with a minor in Management Information Systems.
The groom works for Jacobs ESTS as an aerospace engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University in Flint. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alabama, Huntsville.
