Hundreds of winter-weather enthusiasts bundled up and enjoyed fresh-fallen snow and a few hours of sunshine at Independence Oaks, Sunday.
Open year-round, the Oakland County park offers cross-country skiing, ski rental, ice skating, ice fishing, warming shelters and vending machines to help beat winter blues.
The 1,088-acre park, located at 9501 Sashabaw Road, is open everyday.
