Once a Month a group of retirees from Lake Orion help the North Oakland Fish organization unload the Gleaners food truck to the food pantry located at the old Thomas Hall North of Oxford. The group, known locally as the ROMEOs (Retired Orion Men Eating Out), enjoy breakfast together each week, and work helping those less fortunate when they can. Recently, 4,400 pounds of food were unloaded from the truck and all of the shelves were restocked in less than two hours.
