McLaren hosts breast health program, Tuesday

The new McLaren Breast Center in Clarkston hosts a free community education seminar on all aspects of breast health, featuring three female physician experts in breast diagnostics, breast surgery, and plastic surgery.
The program is Tuesday, March 31, at Clarkston Junior High School’s Auditorium, 6595 Waldon Road. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m., and the program will be presented from 6-7:00 p.m., followed by questions and answers. Refreshments will be served, and a prize drawing will be held.
Presentations include:
‘Image is Everything When It Comes to Breast Disease,? presented by Dr. Linda Lawrence, fellowship trained radiologist. Learn about advanced digital imaging equipment at the new McLaren Breast Center, as well as risk factors, signs, and symptoms of breast disease;
‘Surgical Options for Breast Cancer,? presented by Dr. Linsey Gold, fellowship trained breast surgeon, on alternatives and advancements in breast surgery; and
‘Breast and Body Contouring,? presented by Dr. Ellen Ozolins, fellowship trained plastic surgery, on breast reconstruction, reduction, and lift with augmentation.
McLaren Breast Center opens May 4 in the McLaren Health Care Village on Sashabaw Road. Features include digital mammography technology, which produces enhanced clarity in diagnosis breast disease, breast ultrasound, and stereotactic and ultrasound guided breast biopsies.
