Lucas Sanders and his sister Jill Sanders enjoy the first day of Spring Break by playing in the snow. Snow fell Sunday and Monday, leaving plenty of the white stuff for the Independence Township family to craft an Easter Bunny, in honor of the upcoming holiday. “There was about six inches of snow on the ground, so I thought, might as well build a snow bunny,” said Shellie Sanders, their mother. “It was better than cleaning my room,” said Jill, a student at Sashabaw Middle School.
