A Barton Malow pre-bid conference and site visit/tour will be held for all trades at Barton Malow field office on Monday, January 23, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. All bidders are responsible for attendance at the pre-bid conference. Pre-bid conference minutes will be distributed to all who are known by the Barton Malow Company to have received contact documents, but the Barton Malow Company, Architect and Owner will not be responsible for providing information to those not attending the pre-bid conference. Information disclosed in the prebid conference minutes will be considered part of the bidding and contract documents,
8. A deposit of $100.00 per document set is required. Deposit checks should be made payable to the Lake Orion Community Schools. Bidders shall provide their UPS shipper number for shipping fees if the bidder desires to have plans sent by ground or air transportation. We do not have Fed-X. More than one set is available upon payment of printing and shipping costs. Deposits will he refunded upon return of the bid documents to the Barton Malow Company within twenty (20) days after opening of proposals provided the documents are complete, in clean and usable condition, and free of marks or other defacements. Bidders receiving a contract award may retain the contract documents and their deposit will be refunded upon execution of their contract.
9. Bid proposal shall be on forms furnished by the Barton Malow Company in Section 00400. Bidders will be required to Submit with their bids a Bid Security by a qualified surety authorized to do business in the State of Michigan, an OSHA Form 200 (or 200-S) for the most recent past year, provide their worker’s compensation Experience Modification Rate (EMR) factor and any other information required in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall agree not to withdraw bid proposals for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after date for receipt of bids.
10. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with Lake Orion Community Schools on the Agreement Form identified in Section 00500 of the Project Manual.
11. The right to reject any or all bid proposals, either in whole or in part, or to waive any informalities or irregularities therein is reserved by the Owner.

Grant Application for Clarkston Road Regional Pathway Connection Project
The Lake Orion Community School’s Board of Education will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 6:45 p.m., at the Lake Orion Community Schools Board Office, 315 N. Lapeer Street, Lake Orion, Michigan 48362, regarding the proposed partnership with the Charter Township of Orion and the funding of the construction of the Clarkston Road Regional Pathway Connection Project.
Lake Orion Community Schools is proposing to partner with the Charter Township of Orion in applying for the DNR’s Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Grant Program to partially fund the construction of a connection in the Township’s safety path network along Clarkston Road from Pine Tree Road to the Polly Ann Trail. This proposed pathway will link the Paint Creek Trail and the Polly Ann Trail, provide safe pedestrian access to the reopened Camp Agawam property, is less than a half mile from both Pine Tree Elementary and Orion Oaks Elementary Schools and will provide a continuous non-motorized facility from Lapeer Road to Orion Oaks Park and Friendship Park.

At the Lake Orion Community School Election, there will be elected one (1) member of the Board of Education of the district for a full term of four (4) years, ending June 30, 2009, and there will be elected one (1) member to the Board of Education of the district for a partial term, ending June 30, 2006.

OPERATING MILLAGE RENEWAL PROPOSAL
EXEMPTING PRINCIPAL RESIDENCE AND
QUALIFIED AGRICULTURAL PROPERTY
This millage will allow the school district to continue to levy the statutory rate of 18 mills on all property except principal residence and qualified agricultural property required for the school district to receive its revenue per pupil foundation guarantee.
Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be assessed against all property, exempting therefrom principal residence and qualified agricultural property as defined by law, in Lake Orion Community School District, Oakland County, Michigan, be increased by 18 mills ($18.00 on each $1,000.00 of taxable valuation) for a period of 10 years, 2005 to 2014, inclusive, to provide funds for operating purposes; the estimate of the residue the school district will collect if the millage is approved and levied in 2005 is approximately $9,300,000.00 (this is a renewal of millage which expired with the 2004 tax levy)?

ALL ELECTORS ARE HEREBY GIVEN NOTICE that an election will be held in the Charter Township of Orion, for the electors of Lake Orion Community School District, on Tuesday, May 3, 2005. Electors who wish to vote in the election must be registered to vote or change their address no later than Monday, April 4, 2005.

? At any of the Secretary of State branch offices located throughout the State during normal business hours;
? At the specified agency for clients receiving services through the Family Independence Agency, the Department of Commu- nity Health, Michigan Jobs Commission, and some offices of the Commission for the Blind;
? At the military recruitment offices for persons enlisting in the armed forces.
