Support green and white on your front lawn

Do you want to find a unique way to display your school pride for the green and white? Are you celebrating a birthday or a son or daughter’s graduation?
Matthew Kirk and Josh Hucul, founders of the company Lawn Graphiks, have come up with an alternative to the balloons, banners and flags many people fly in their backyards to commemorate these occasions.
Instead of putting decorations on front lawns, Kirk and Hucul can paint a sports symbol, a child’s jersey number, a graduation cap or a company’s logo right onto the lawn using the same paint that is used on any natural grass athletic field. This paint will not harm the lawn and will fade in about a week’s time.
‘Our customer’s imagination is the only limitation,? Hucul said.
Kirk founded Lawn Graphiks and started the business with Hucul last fall around homecoming season.
Kirk is the assistant coach for the Lake Orion Junior Varsity football team, which sparked his idea to provide a business which lets people display their school pride on their lawns.
Lawn Graphiks is a Lake Orion based company. The reason why Kirk and Hucul chose Lake Orion to start this business is because they both work, live and grew up in the area.
‘We support the community, as we believe the majority of the town does,? Hucul said.
Some examples of logos that have been painted on lawns are the ‘LO,? Michigan and Michigan State symbols during the fall rivalry game, the Red Wings symbol and the Tiger’s old English ‘D.?
‘We like to see our customers? faces when they see the finished product on their lawn. This is so new that no one really knows what to expect when they order one, but they are always pleased with how they turn out,? Hucul said.
‘We want to continue pleasantly surprising our customers by doing designs that they didn’t think could be done.?
The typical price range for these designs is $45 for the most basic designs to $200 for the most complex.
