During the week of April 27, the Lake Orion boys? varsity baseball team won all four of their games.
On Wednesday, the Dragons played against Troy Athens with a 7-0 victory.
On Friday, the Dragons played a home game against the Clarkston Wolves, defeating them 12-3.
Sophomore Zach Zott pitched the game on Friday.
‘Pitching well comes a lot from your teammates and how well they perform. And on this team, they perform well every time,? Zott said. ‘The game’s momentum rides on your shoulders. That pressure is sweet and being able to pitch well for your team is great. Striking someone out on the other team gives you a sense of accomplishment, and you just know you’re helping your team win. A great feeling.?
On Saturday, the Dragons played two games against Novi High School.
In the first game, Lake Orion won 11-7. Vinnie Booker went 4-for-5 in this game with two runs scored.
Phil Serzo went 2-for-2, and he knocked in three runs. He hit a home run for both the first and second games. John Williamson was the pitcher for this game.
For their second game against Novi, Lake Orion won 16-9.
Andy Moiser went 3-for-4 with five runs batted in. He also hit a home run.
Kyle Rosen went 2-for-3 with a home run. Matt Fish went 3-for-4 with two runs scored.
‘I think in the last two weeks we’ve done a really good job pitching,? Coach Andy Schramek said.
